Held at the CC mint Friday and Saturday, anyone going?

Not the largest show, but one of the coolest venues for a coin show.

    I was just there a week and a half ago on Monday and didn't realize that they're closed on Monday.image
    Next time, for sure on a day that they're actually open....

    I have been to the CC mint and it truly is a monument- a great location for coins, the old west and just about anything else.

    I wish I could attend

    The "staged" hold-up with horses and blazing Colt-45s, where the desperados take all the gold from dealers' cases, is a real treat! How did they organize that, and how do they get it all back to the dealers?

    I will be there Friday for the Coin Show and the annual meeting of the "Carson City Coin Collectors of America" held on the second floor of the CC Mint. Looking forward to getting a few new coins photographed by Todd and checking out the dealers showcases.

    I was just at the CC Mint (Nevada State Museum) last week. Great Trip!
